David comes to the Red Ridge United Methodist Church by way of the Highlands United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.

 

Prior to serving five years at the Highlands United Methodist Church he served the Forest Lake United Methodist Church for five years, Asbury United Methodist Church for six years, Graysville United Methodist Church for three years, and Crumly Chapel United Methodist Church for five years. David has been a pastor in the North Alabama Conference since 1986.

 

 He retired from the US Army reserves after 31 years of service having attained the rank of lieutenant colonel.

 

David has been married to Kay Yeilding Carboni since 1972. They have three children -- Beth, Paul, and Mark. He enjoys being with people, traveling, playing golf, and working on 'fix-up' projects
